March- Break STEAM Robotics Camp Mar 11-15, 2024 (Half Day)

Let's have fun building, learning and playing with robots this March break! 
In our March-Break camp, all campers will build two robots a day and engage in varieties of creative activities.  Join us for a fun and amazing spring break, build robots, learn STEAM and play with friends!   Throughout this camp students will gain valuable skills while working with mainboards, DC motors, gears, and axles as they build a wide variety of robot designs. They’ll even be challenged to build a robot entirely from scratch! No prior experience is necessary; just be prepared for an incredibly fun and engaging experience!

Camp sizes are limited…so don’t delay and register early to avoid disappointment.

Camp Agenda:

- Welcome and Ice-Breaking Activities

- Understanding the Basics (Learning Concepts & Theory)

- Robotics Workshop: Assembling Robots*

- Modification & Play Time

- Clean-up (Conclude class and begin disassembly and clean up)

- Closing Activity and Dismissal

* will have nutrition break during Robotics Workshop

Half Day Campers – Please bring a peanut/nut free snack and a water bottle.

Pricing

Half Day (9:00 AM – 12:00 PM) – $279.99 + HST = $316.40

Cancellation Policy

Please note that ALL camps at RoboThink GTA are non-refundable and non-transferable with the exception of camps that unable to run due to Government imposed lockdowns. In this case, they would be refunded (less Credit Card processing fee of $35.00).

A full 100% refund is given if the program is cancelled by RoboThink GTA.

Participant Acknowledgement and Disclaimer

• General Participation: I, the undersigned, am the parent/legal guardian of my child/children, hereby give my approval for his/her participation in any and all activities prepared by RoboThink Day Camp during the selected camp. I assume all risk and hazards incidental to such participation including transportation to and from the activities.

• Health and Safety: I acknowledge that I am responsible for any medical expenses incurred as a result of my child's participation in the camp. I certify that my child is in good health and able to participate in all activities. If necessary, I authorize RoboThink Day Camp to administer first aid or seek medical care for my child in the event of an emergency.

• Personal Property: I acknowledge that RoboThink Day Camp is not responsible for personal property lost, damaged, or stolen during the duration of the camp.

• Behavior Expectations: I understand that my child is expected to follow the rules and instructions of the camp, and that disruptive or dangerous behavior may result in dismissal from the camp without a refund.

• Photography and Video Release: I hereby grant RoboThink Day Camp the right to photograph and/or videotape my child and to use such photograph(s) and/or video(s) in all forms of media, for any and all promotional purposes including advertising, display, audiovisual, exhibition, or editorial use.

• Liability Release: I hereby agree to release, indemnify, and hold harmless RoboThink Day Camp, its officers, directors, employees, agents, volunteers, and all other connected with the camp, from any and all liability, claims, or demands for personal injury, sickness, or death, as well as property damage and expenses, of any nature whatsoever arising out of, or related to, my child's participation in the camp.
